I'm an independent travel advisor based in the Naperville area. I plan cruises, river cruises, all-inclusive resorts and guided tours where everything is taken care of.
Why I focus on a few kinds of trips
Life is stressful. I love cruises, river cruises, all-inclusive resorts and group guided tours for the same reason. You don't have to drive anywhere or cook anything, and there's always something to explore. Focusing on these lets me know them really well, allowing me to match you with the best experience and brand for you.
My story
I'm lucky that many of my travels have included my sports-loving, gluten-free-eating, extra-chromosome-rocking brother, Lyle, and my beachside-reading, wine-enthusiast, in-her-70s-but-you'd-never-know-it Mom. And then there's me, the snorkeling, scuba-diving, rock-climbing adventurer and theatre artist who jumps at the chance to see a theatrical production or comedy show!
Traveling as a family, where everyone has their own needs, abilities, interests, and idea of a perfect vacation, takes a bit of extra effort and care. Discovering how well packaged vacations work for our family (thanks to Mom for taking us on our first cruise as kids!) has made me passionate about helping other couples and families find experiences that work for them, too. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to step away from the stress of everyday life, reconnect with themselves and the people they love, and enjoy a change of scenery without having to manage every little detail. Life is hard enough. The mental load of everyday life shouldn't have to come along on vacation, too.
How I'm set up
I run Inclusive Escapes Travel from my home in the western suburbs of Chicago. I run my business underneath my host agency, Travel Planners International (TPI). I am also a member of Signature Travel Network, a consortium that gives me group rates and exclusive supplier perks. That means you get the best of both worlds! I'm a member of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and was named a Four Under 40 honoree in 2024. I am also a proud member of the American Society of Travel Advisors.
